Gift frippery Wedding Workshops
Weddings are very important to everyone involved. Many brides-to-be want to add individual touches to create their special day. This not only keeps the event budget friendly ,it means it’s personalised.
After a brief chat (email/phone) where you share your thoughts with me on your chosen style (vintage? Elegant? etc) and colours, I can create a workshop where you can make various trimming, favours etc which you can then go and recreate yourself.
The wedding workshop can be seen as a classy hen-do or just an opportunity for the extended family or the bride and her hens to come together for a unique bonding experience before the big day.
“When I booked the workshop I was slightly anxious. I had no ideas about how I wanted my wedding to be but I hoped this workshop was a good start! I knew I wanted all the special touches but I didn’t know what they could be. I’m not that creative but Amanda really helped me. I felt she understood me from the previous email conversations we had. The colours I wanted were the main starting point and the second one was that I wanted a natural, understated but fun , individual wedding...nothing too showy.
I invited my bridesmaids, my mother in law to be, mother and grandmas. It was a lovely bonding time and an easy way for everyone to feel included and like they’d contributed to the actual day. One bridesmaid hadn’t met anyone in the group before so it was a really great way to introduce her!
The atmosphere was lovely..really fun, and it actually was the beginning of me feeling excited instead of nervous about the wedding day. We used lots of the ideas that were suggested by Amanda. The good thing is you learn to make a selection of things and she has so many good ideas.
We could have had a follow up workshop and in hindsight I wished I’d done this.
I’ll definitely go back with my girlfriends at some point to do Amanda’s gift wrapping workshop. Awesome!”
