#PostCircle

I recently heard about #PostCircle on Twitter. I was intrigued enough to want to find out a bit more. It has been set up by Anna, http://miss-beatrix.blogspot.co.uk/p/post-circle.html
It is basically a group of people who value snail mail in these fast and furious times. Let’s face it, it’s rare to get a lovely handwritten note or letter these days. So this is for people who love to send and receive lovely post…..just because!
You are placed randomly into a group of around six people. These people might have similar interests but not necessarily and they could be all different ages . The idea is every time you receive post you send out some post. This keeps the whole project moving. You can post to whoever you want within your own group.
Your post can be pretty much anything eg. a full blown letter, some crafty bits, a post card, a photograph, a cuddly toy. The thought is in the giving not the cost.
So, I’ve just been given my group, so am quite excited. First things first though, what shall I send in the post???????
I would love you all to make some suggestions please.

Getting a hand written letter is a treat all by itself! You could send it in one of those nice envelopes you made out of Hobby Craft paper awhile back. Choosing thoughtful little bits to put in with letters is tricky and depends on the likes of the person your sending to. You probably can’t go wrong with stationary (notelets/stickers/stamps etc) though as you know that they like writing letters to. Oh, and some of your lovely ribbons, they are guaranteed to put a smile on anyone s face.

Thank you Hannah! I’d forgotten about those envelopes so that is EXACTLY what I’m going to do!

Definately use your lovely Hobbycrafts fashion envelopes, and if you feel you want to put something inside, maybe a little notelet so that they can use it next time they write a letter.
Handwritten letters are lovely to receive….Nice idea. 😉

I’ve just posted them out and actually made a little set of mini envelopes for each of my #postcircle group. Here’s hoping they like them!
